A book release event is being planned for my newest book "The Philadelphia Nativist Riots: Irish Kensington Erupts." Stayed tuned for posting of exact date and time and place.

 

On May 18th I will be setting up a booth (B6)at the Trenton Avenue Art Festival

 

On June 15th, 2013, at 1:30 p.m., I will give a history talke/signing at Port Richmond Books, 3037 Richmond Street, in Port Richmond, Philadelphia. Come early and have lunch at one of the Polish restaurants in the neighborhood.

 

May 2014, I will be giving a talk and book signing at the G.A.R. Museum in the Frankford section of Philadelphia. Stay tuned for details.

I was interveiwed by the Cable News show "The Richie Antipunta Show," a cable news show devoted to Kensington news & troubles. The show appears  PhillyCAM Ch 66/966 Comcast and Fioz 29/30, 10 PM Thursdays, 12 AM Fridays. I will appear fhere and there as needs arise.

History of the Kensington Soup Society was released in late March 2009 and is still available for sale, order from the author and receive a special "Supplement" for free, which includes biographies of the 24 founders of the Society, plus a directory of names of those who ever served on the Society's board, acted as superintendent, or had any official capacity for the Soup Society, including the dates of their involvement.
