Helenor, wife of Charles Keen, of Kensington (Philadelphia), and daughter of the late Thomas Lownds, Esq. of this city.

NA       16 Sep             15 Sept            Yesterday morning, Mrs. Elizabeth Andeson, in the

60th year of her age. Her friends and thos of the family, are respectfully invited to attend her funeral, from the residence of her brother, Jacob Keen, Queen street, Kensington, on Monday at 2 o’clock.

NA       10 Oct             8 Oct               On the 8th inst., of a lingering disease, which she

bore with the greatest Christian fortitude, Mrs. Anna, wife of John Mayers, in the 49th year of her age. Her friends and those of the family, are respectfully invited to attend the funeral, from the residence of her husband, in Palmer street, Kensington, back of First Presbyterian Church, this afternoon at 3 o’clock.

illness, Martha Bower. The friends of the family are affectionately invited to attend her funeral, without further notice, from her mother’s residence in Penn, between Marsh & Maiden streets (Kensington) this afternoon, at 4 o’clock.

NADA  4 Dec               3 Dec               On the morning of the 3d inst., in the 49th year of

his age, Captain Edmund Fennell, for many years a shipmaster out of this port. His friends and the friends of the family are particularly invited to attend his funeral, from the residence of his sister, Mrs. Franklin Eyre, Beach between Hanover and Palmer streets, Kensington, this afternoon, at 2 o’clock.

NADA 15 Oct              --------                        At Mill Hall (Pa) from injuries received from his

horse taking fright and jumping down a bank into a rocky creek, the vehicle falling on him, Abbott B. Garth, in the 23d year of his age; son of Mrs. Mary Garth, late of the District of Kensington. He was an excellent son and brother, sincerely beloved by his family and by his numerous friends, who are left to mourn over his early and untimely fate.

aged 2 years. The Friends and acquaintances of the family are respectfully invited to attend his funeral from the residence of his mother Margaret Caffrey, St. John Street, between Beaver and George’s streets, Kensington, this afternoon at 4 o’clock.

86 years, relict of Wm. T. Donaldson, deceased. The friends of the family are invited to attend her funeral on Thusday afternoon, the 15th inst., at 3 o’clock, from her late residence, in Penn above Maiden street, Kensington, to proceed to Monument Cemetery.

brain, Mr. Alexander Campbell, in the 34th year of his age. The relatives and friends of the family, are respectfully invited to attend his funeral, from his late residence, No. 573 north Front st., below Otter, Kensington, on Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock, without further notice. To proceed to Monument Cemetery.

 

NAUSG  14 Jun       16 May            At sea, on the Steamship City of Glasgow, on the

afternoon of Friday, the 16th day of May, 1851, Ralph Pilling, in the 58th year of his age, of Kensington, formerly of Bolton Le Moor, Lancashire, England.

 

NAUSG  11 Aug      9 Aug               On the 9th instant, from the effects of bilious

dysentery, Clara Louise, aged 9 years, 2 months and 12 days, eldest daughter of Capt. John P. and Mary Ann Levy. The relatives and friends of the family are requested to attend her funeral, from the residence of her parents, in Queen street, two doors above Palmer street, Kensington, this (Monday) afternoon, at 3 o’clock, without further notice – funeral to proceed to Woodland Cemetery.

 

NAUSG  19 Sept                             Order No, 1. – The Officers of the several Division

of the Consolidated Police will parade, under command of their respective Lieutenants, This (Friday) Afternoon, at 1 o’clock, to pay the last tribute of respect to their deceased brother, George P. Ashmore, late Policeman of the Kensington Division, with stars craped. Policemen Albert G. stevens and Charles M. Clayton, of the N.W. City Division: John Smith and Hiram Bennett, of the Spring Garden Division; Francis Hunter, of the Southwark Division; William Green, of the Kensington Division; Jacob Glassmire, of the Northern Liberties Division; and John Roberts, of the S.W. City Division, will act as Pall Bearers. Policemen Peter H. Willetts and Charles M. Tapper, of the Spring Garden Division, will serve as Special Aids on the occasion, and will be respected and obeyed accordingly. By command of John S. Keyser, Marshal. A. W. Blackburn, Special Officer.

 

NAUSG  10 Oct      8 Oct               On Fourth day, the 8th inst., Eleanor Eyre, relict of

the late Isaac Eyre, formerly of Kensington, shipwright, in the 73d year of her age. Her friends, and those of the family are respectfully invited to attend her funeral, on Seventh day morning, the 11th inst., at 10 o’clock, from her late residence, Attleborough, Bucks county, PA.
